Tag! You're It Challenge-Baby Gift Tag

Hi Everyone!

I have a tag for the current Tag You're It Challenge.  I had a lot of fun with this one.  I used the design of the inspiration tag to create a gift tag for a baby.

Here's the inspiration:

Here's my tag:

To get that soft cloud pattern, I used the Kite Stencil Puffy Clouds stencil and lightly blended some ink along the cloud shapes to create the subtle outline.  I did this using a sponge dauber and Brilliance Sky Blue pigment ink.  You could use any cloud shaped mask for this.  The key is to blend the blue ink all over the tag lightly after you outline the clouds.  This kind of makes everything look seamless and more "sky-like".

I used a die from Memory Box called Star Flourish for the little monkey to slide down (a long rainbow die cut would be cute too).  To add a little sparkle, I covered it in Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with some Judikins Iridescent Sparkle embossing powder.  I added some soft ink blending to the  heart with Rocket Red Brilliance ink.

Welcome Baby

 Hi Everyone!

Today, I'm playing along with the Paper Smooches January Challenge.  The theme this month is "cozy" and they have an inspiration photo over on their blog as a starting point.

 Here's my card:

  Paper smooches

I've been wanting to use this A Little Lovin' stamp set for awhile now.  The little cutie pie elephant makes me smile!  I incorporated most of the colors from the inspiration photo and the "cozy" theme of course is the stamp.  When stamping the leaves, I used a lighter green for the entire stamp, then added a touch of the darker green to give it some more interest.  I brought out my burlap hearts again--I really like how it adds a little texture.  I felt like the card needed something else, so I added a little "swoosh" from the Positive Strokes Two stamp set.

Thanks for joining me today!
