It's time for another challenge over at the Kat Scrappiness blog! Hannah is hosting this month and she has a beautiful mood board of pinks and rose gold for inspiration. I was looking forward to working with this because I wanted to break out my new Lawn Fawn Rose Gold Embossing Powder.
I was in the mood to use lots of layers this time and of course had to fit in those cute macaroons. What is it about those cookies? The shape, the color, they're just so happy looking!
For my background, I ran a Versamark Ink pad over a heart stencil I had and then embossed it with the rose gold embossing powder.
For the next layer, I used a tissue paper pad from Cosmo Cricket I've had for years. It's called She's Got Tissues.
This is a great alternative to vellum and you can actually still get it! I cut out an oval using one of the Kat Scrappiness Never Ending Oval dies.
Over the tissue, I added the Sweet Word and Sentiment die cut from Kat Scrappiness along with the macaroons and a sentiment from Avery Elle's Bonjour stamp set. It's hard to see, but I added a little bit of Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen over the top of the die cut.
