I'm stopping in today as promised with a peek inside the Happy Planner I use for my blog and design team projects. You can scroll down for the video and a link to some great blog planner stickers from Damask Love.
I like using a planner for blogging, because it not only allows me to keep track of due dates but also to capture ideas and log progress all in one spot. The planner I use is an older standard- sized Happy Planner called Wildflowers. Unfortunately, I could not find it in standard size anymore, but they do have this style in the "mini" version if you're interested.
I have to admit, I've kind of gotten into using more stickers to decorate my planner. It's a very mindful activity that allows you to just enjoy the process and really focus on the upcoming week and your goals. I see why people enjoy this as their hobby.
My first attempt at a layout! I can't resist those Maggie Holmes stickers......I leave enough room for what I know I have to do for the week from my "to do" list (not pictured), then I fill in everything with pen after I put the stickers down. I plan according to what time of day I'll have time to do things. For example, if I'm busy in the morning, I'll put aside a block in the afternoon for my blog activities. I try and stick to the plan so I can balance my day with other things not blog-related. Saturdays and Sundays are always "off" and reserved for scrapbooking if I have the time.
