Today, I'm playing along with this week's Make It Monday Challenge over at Papertrey Ink. I'm in my happy place using a graphic stamp and my favorite color combo to do a monochrome card with a pop of color. I used the Cover Plate: Cozy Christmas 2 Die and cut it three times. Once in black, light gray, and dark gray. I then popped up the black piece on the front of a white notecard with foam tape and inlaid the sides with pieces of the dark and light gray. This gives a bit of a gradient look.
I embossed in white, a sentiment from You've Been Framed: Hexagon along with a triangle from the set above and below. I embossed another set of triangles in Aqua Zing embossing powder, trimmed them out, and added those above and below with foam tape.
This no-nonsense design is perfect for making multiple cards too--you could just change up the 'pop" of color on each card.
Thanks for joining me today!
