I'm playing along with the current CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge this week. I love a cluster pattern--there are so many things you can do with it using small stamps or shapes. For this one, I chose to follow the sketch pretty much as is, but then put a focus on color.
I finally got to try out my new Pretty Pink Posh Blissful Butterflies stamp. This time, for color, I broke out my Sakura GellyRoll Metallic pens. Not something I use that often, but I thought they would be fun to use in the lines of my heat embossed butterfly image. I added a little bit of my Zig brush pens with water for some depth. That paint swish of color is meant to mimic the strip of white down the left side of the sketch. This was a stamp from My Favorite Things' Jumbo Abstract Art.
I did some more cutting apart of my stamps with one of the sentiments from Lawn Fawn's Happy Happy Happy. I've been doing this a lot more lately. It gives so many more options when using sentiment stamps.
Thanks so much for joining me today!
