We're in the home stretch of all my projects for Camp Create. I don't think I've ever created this many cards in this short of time, but I'm finding that it's true, the more you create, the more ideas you get. It's been fun experimenting with different techniques and getting out of my comfort zone. Today is no exception.
Glitter is the theme for today's project. Now, I love the look of glitter, but I don't usually work with loose glitter on projects. I have my favorite Glitzy Glitter paper pad that I reach for all the time--all the sparkle, but none of the mess :). I'll also add glitter to the inside of my shaker cards for more sparkle. This is about as far as I go. I saw all the pretty projects Stephanie put together with her glitter, though, and I thought I'd give it a try.
For this project, I used dies from MFT's Wild Greenery set and framed the card with a square from Stitched Square Frames. I cut the card down to the size of the square frame. I like this small size, especially for thank you cards.
For the glitter, I heat embossed some Vertigris embossing powder I mixed with holographic embossing powder and used that for the green leaves. For the gold leaf, I die cut the leaf onto some Be Creative tape and sprinkled gold glitter onto the sticky side. That tape is the best for adhering glitter !
That's it for today. I'll be back soon with one more project for Camp Create--until then, have a great day!
