I recently purchased a few new crafty things including this great background stamp from Hero Arts called Large Swirl Background.
I decided to pair it with a Stampers Anonymous set from Tim Holtz that hasn't seen ink yet to make a tag. I'll be entering it in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and the Curtain Call Challenge.
The Curtain Call Challenge was to use green on our project. I thought green and silver would look great together so I heat embossed that beautiful background stamp onto a tag from My Favorite Things Blueprints 9. The tag was the perfect size for the background. For the dress, I stamped it onto a piece of cardstock with Versafine Onyx ink and colored it in with my Zig Markers using a little water as a base. I chose an emerald green so it would really pop against the silver.
I really like the way this turned out. That background stamp was a great purchase--I can think of a lot of different ways I can use it for more projects.
