Paper Smooches-March Release Projects

Hi Everyone,

I'm so excited because I recently won the Paper Smooches March Guest Designer Challenge.  Many thanks to Kim over at Paper Smooches for giving me the opportunity to create some fun projects with their current release!  Each week of this month, I'll be featuring cards using their March products on my blog, so stay tuned for more inspiration.

This month's release is all about animals and fun pun sentiments.

For my first card, I used the new Dinosaur Die paired with the previous Think Fast stamp set.  I couldn't resist adding the little google-y eye.  I  really like that I can pull in some older stamp sets of theirs and everything goes together.

PS Kim-Dinosaur 2

I used 2 colors of paper from the DCWV Shimmer Paper Stack to put together the dinosaur. I used my handy tools to put all the pieces in place.

This next card was made with the new Bunny Card Die.  This is one of three new animal shaped dies that fit the entire front of a card.  You can also create an animal shaped card which I will show in an upcoming post.

I used felt from My Favorite Things and Papertrey Ink along with some vellum for the whiskers.  Of course I had to add one of those cute sentiments from the Critter Card Puns set.  So adorable!

The card dies come with A LOT of pieces, so I made sure I kept my Spellbinders Main Attraction close by to wrangle them.  That magnet has been a lifesaver--no more crawling on the floor to find a runaway piece!

Thanks for joining me today and be sure to visit the Paper Smooches blog for more on the new March release.
