I have a card today that features a clean and simple, graphic style. I am entering it in two challenges. The first is Cards in Envy where the challenge was to use only black and white on your project (a small amount of color is ok). The second challenge is CAS on a Sunday, where the theme was just using a sentiment on your card. I have a new stamp from Mama Elephant I had been wanting to use, so I thought this would be the perfect project.
I first masked an inked rectangle onto a white notecard using Merman ink from Lawn Fawn--The names of their inks are so great! On top of that, I adhered a die cut rectangle from Nestabilities Wonky Rectangles cut from My Favorite Things 6x6 pad--Dots and Stripes-Neutral. On top of that, I added another rectangle with my sentiment heat embossed with white powder. Some white enamel dots added a little interest--you could also try white paint splotches--I'm not brave enough yet :). Clean and simple--my favorite!
Later in the week, I will feature another card featuring black and white as the main component. This look really packs a punch and would be great to make in multiples.
Thanks so much for joining me today!
