I'm back with a card for the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge. This time, we had to create a project without using any die cuts.
I paired a sentiment from the Wonderful Words stamp set with a stencil from Kite Stencils called Splash. Instead of using a sponge dauber, I wanted to try these new stencil brushes I had by Art Alternatives. I've been seeing a lot of projects using this technique and wanted to try it out. It really gives a nice, even, soft look. I like it a lot. I used my Kaleidacolor ink pad in Blue Breeze to give kind of a dreamy multi color look to go along with the sentiment. To add sparkle, I heat embossed the sentiment with Versafine Onyx ink and Ranger Black Sparkle powder.
Thanks for stopping by!
