Hi Everyone! I'm back with a card I'm entering in the February Papertrey Ink Blog Hop Challenge. They have an inspiration photo on their blog featuring rich hues and a dark background. A little more of a challenge for me, but I was up for it.
I started with a Raspberry Fizz card base and added a Dark Indigo panel on top. For the flowers, I pulled out my In Bloom stamp set and heat embossed two of the flowers with gold on Classic Kraft cardstock. One of the sentiments from It's the Thought fit perfectly between the two die cut flowers to create that nice design "triangle".
I felt like the card needed one more thing, so I heat embossed some of the leaves from In Bloom around the top portion of the card. I used clear embossing powder which added just a little texture without being "too much".
Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!
